I acquired this Seasons Greetings card in a large lot that I acquired a number of years ago for my Canadian stamp collection. In doing research to list it this found zero information on the artist Owen Staples having produced something like this. The link to his Wikipedia posting is extremely interesting and is as follows. This card is approx 4" by 7.25". The actual image is approx 2.5" by 5".

The card is signed by the artist just below the image while the words "Seasons Greetings" are in the lower LH corner. It is not matted or framed. The reverse has no writing on it but it does have a depression where the image was printed on the front. The illustration is of old cannons firing with WW1 planes overhead. The buildings remind me of London, England.

I believe it was produced during WW1 or shortly after. There is an inscription in the image. The card is in typical overall condition for a document being at least 100 years old.

The top and bottom edges are a little rough edged while the RH and bottom are crisp. If you can enlighten me any more than I found out please let me know.
